— Project BrieF —
This project is a redesign of the website of a team of legal practitioners in New Zealand. The original site was basic HTML, the whole site was converted to WordPress, so the clients can manage to edit minimal text changes their own. Lastly, the website is fully responsive so it can be accessed using any device.
— Roles and Responsibilities —
Art Direction, Front-end Development, Responsive Web Design
Text content changes were the only resource provided for this redesign. Images for the new design had to reuse existing content from their old website. Their content highlighted that this firm is owned and led by two partners. Basing on this information, I created the design by playing with the concept of duality through colors and diagonal divisions.
My tasks included the creation of web and mobile design mockups. Then, I worked on the front-end code (HTML, CSS, and JS). The design had to be responsive and checked in multiple devices (desktop, tablet, and phones) and web browsers for compatibility and consistency.
Additionally, I had to collaborate with a developer to ensure the design standards are met during the conversion of the HTML markups to a WordPress theme.
